Loose Powder Foundation

I keep saying I want to make my own make up and then I never get around to it.  I ran out of loose powder foundation.  I didn’t want to go to the store to pick some up and I remembered my friend Robin from Thank Your Body has a recipe for it on her site.

Even before I looked at the recipe I got all intimidated.  I thought I wouldn’t have the supplies and that the shade wouldn’t match my skin colour….

Tools to use for this recipe

For this recipe you will need:

DIY Face Powder Ingredients:

How to make Loose Powder Foundation

You start with a base of arrowroot flour.  Then you add one of 3  other ingredients to add colour.  Since I have fair skin I used cinnamon and a little went a long way.  Oh and I made the recipe in like a minute!

Try out the recipe.  It keeps the shine away.  Since it’s powder it gives a light coverage.  It’s more for shine control.
