Trick or treat with confidence this Halloween with our gluten free Halloween candy guide.
Let’s help keep kids happy this year with a selection of gluten free Halloween candy. Whether your children are allergic to gluten or sensitive to it, we have a variety of treats that will be perfect to give to them and hand out this Halloween.
When I was making this list I focused on candy that would typically be given out over Halloween. All the links go to Halloween-size candies and chocolates if you wish to purchase them for easy shopping.
I did my best to not add any Halloween gluten free candy or chocolate to the list that had a label of possible gluten contamination during the manufacturing process even if the ingredients were gluten free.
You will see below that the lists are broken up by Certified Gluten Free Halloween Candy, Gluten Free Halloween Candy, Gluten Free Halloween Chocolate, and Not Gluten Free Halloween Candy.
Most chocolate or Halloween candy that is considered not gluten free is because it has malt syrup (made from barley) in it or uses some kind of cookie base like cookies and cream chocolate bars. If you’re confused about specific chocolate bars or candies I have a ton covered in my, Is it Gluten Free? category.
Allergy Information Codes
I only put the additional allergen info if the brand claimed it was dairy free. I put gluten free if the ingredients were gluten free and certified gluten free if the brand claimed it was certified gluten free.
- CGF = Certified Gluten Free
- GF = Gluten Free
- NF = Nut Free
- PF = Peanut Free
